Low Cost Constructions

The Cost of construction in Uganda has risen to the extent that developers spend so much money on conventional construction methods. The main objective of FRANBAG BAU (Uganda) LTD  in Low Cost Constructions is to provide latest technological solutions to both highway transportation and housing professionals through innovation, quality manufacturing, and “care attention” to client needs in all stages of our clients’ projects. This fundamental approach to doing business and project management, including dealing with partners who utilize state-of-art technology development and manufacturing, results in economic solutions to “real world” needs and satisfied clients.

FRANBAG BAU (Uganda) LTD offers consultancy services in Low Cost Constructions of both Housing and Road Projects. We take time to analyze our Client’s projects and use easily available and economic materials or methods of construction to fit the Client’s budget.

1. Low Cost Housing: During the design stage we advise our Clients to come up with designs whereby the distribution of forces for the structure is done in such a way that the use of dry walls or earth walls is possible. We take drainage as a sensitive element in our designs. We design economical systems for water harvesting both in rural and urban areas. We substitute available materials to replace the conventional ones used in suspended slabs reducing the costs considerably.
2. Road Constructions: FRANBAG BAU (Uganda) LTD under the parent company, RRP (Uganda) Limited is the pioneer of low cost road construction using unconventional chemical stabilization in Uganda. We have dealt with several Chemical Stabilizers like CON-AID, Roadamine, ISS, Reynolds Road Packer (RRP), enzymes, DRP, etc. We are at the moment working with SaLut Inc to explore the advantages of DRP products on lateritic and black cotton soils.
